Day 2 of our trip, leaving New Mexico, entering Colorado and putting 439+ miles (drove a few miles with it off)...

Today's trip was relatively uneventful. The questions about our arrival time seem to have stopped (they didn't read the blog). People were polite at the gas stops.

The only thing worth noting was our 20 minute delay due to traffic outside Colorado Springs. When we came to a complete stop on the road, I thought I'd take a look at one of the features of my new GPS device, traffic alerts. It said there was no traffic in the area...

Whatever. We're on vacation. Maybe it'll be more accurate for the daily commute.

One of the reasons we wanted to get out of our travel trailer and into the RV was for the enhanced travel experience. 2 movies played on the 27" flat screen over my head (one my wife watched with the kids), while the dogs relaxed...

Oh... and the boys played a few video games whilst lounging...

And I just plugged away at the miles, one of my favorite things to do.
